| DAVIES "BOILER-KLEEN #400" is a scientifically balanced boiler treatment product intended for use in hot water boilers. "BOILER-KLEEN #400" has been found both effective and economically efficient in maintaining hot water boilers free from corrosion and scale. "BOILER-KLEEN #400" protects against corrosion on all metal surfaces, including boiler tubes and walls, valves, check valves, pumps, etc. "BOILER-KLEEN #400" is monitored with a BK400 test kit, which is accurate and easy to use. |

A good starting point for "BOILER-KLEEN #400" treatment is one gallon per 300 gallons of water. Sufficient treatment must be added to maintain 200 ppm as measured by the BK400 test kit. The pH should not exceed 9 in the system. For water 8 grains or harder, "SCALE-BAN" treatment may be necessary to prevent scale. The scaling tendency will vary with boiler function, load, and conditions. Hot water boilers have a much greater tendency toward corrosion than scale. If a customer has a hot water boiler with a history of scaling, or with hard water, submit a make-up water system to the lab for analysis and treatment recommendation.
